Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Fantastic location, right next to the sea wall. The menu was so interesting and the food was beautifully presented. Very impressed and we will be back!"
"Spectacular food and attentive service. We loved our lunch here, we were eating with one gluten free and our charming and handsome waiter Javi made sure that we could share everything. It’s a definite recommendation from us."
"Stumbled upon this place and truly enjoyed every bite. Waiters are also chill and the view is beautiful. Would recommend! Food was exceptional"
"Talla stands for an unpretentious yet outstanding gastronomic atmosphere in the picturesque setting of Cadaqués. You can feel in every interaction how motivated the team is to deliver exceptional food – with bold combinations and perfectly executed seafood pairings inspired by the local waters. Some dishes take cues from French culinary principles, embracing the freshness of the Costa Brava and combining it with an excellent wine selection. My personal recommendation: the table right by the wall facing the water. The bone marrow with scallops and kaviar is just mindblowing. If you get the chance, start or finish your evening with a Gilda (from Bar Talla) and a perfectly poured beer. Seize the moment. See you again in May 2026."
"So, I really liked this place. The food is overall really good. They have a lot of creative, delicious dishes and the location is right next to the water with a great view. I will say that it's better to eat here if you're going to sit outside because the inside is a bit dark. We liked all the items we got except the wagyu - it just wasn't really worth it here. I'd recommend going for the more interesting unique items, especially the duck morels, tortilla, scallops, etc. Don't get the centollo (crab) if you don't like strong fishy flavors; otherwise it is good. One other thing... the order system is overly complicated and off-putting with no explanation on the menu. Since it's not explained anywhere, I'll explain here: -Everything is to share with the table, they do not do individual plates per person. -They recommend ordering 2 items at a time. -You have to order from top to bottom (cold items to warm items). I recommend making a reservation in advance!"
"I am so happy that we booked this place for lunch! What a beautiful little restaurant. Absolutely everything was amazing from the food to the service to the view. Do not hesitate in booking this place. My only suggestion is that you do it very far in advance because they do book up quickly and while we would’ve preferred to sit outside it wasn’t available. We did sit inside and it didn’t take away from the experience at all so don’t let that stop you."
"Probably the best meal I’ve ever had. The scallops with artichoke, sea bass cheek and carbonara tortilla were the stand outs. We loved it so much we wanted to go again the next day!"
"One of the best restaurant in Cadaques. Location is top with plenty of table outside by the water with a view over the bay. Menu has a good variety and interesting choices also in terms of plate presentation. I really liked the plates and the overall aesthetic of the dishes. Service was ok but maybe it is the only thing that can be improved to be a bit more premium. Prices are average and reservation is needed if you are looking for one of the top table in front of the bay."
